Are Human Growth Hormone Injections Really Worth It?

Doctors vary widely on the subject of Human Growth Hormone. Some avoid HGH injections, but are willing to recommend invasive surgeries or chemical treatments with serious side effects. Other doctors have no problem accepting the large sums of money that is asked for the injections while only considering the padding it will give their wallets. Yet other physicians will disencourage injections and instead, encourage an examination of lifestyle and recommend changes that can be made. Rarely, doctora will mention the use of dietary aids such as supplements. Why are Human Growth Hormone injection usually avoided?

Human Growth Hormone, or cmmonly known as HGH, is a hormone protein created and released by the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland is at the bottom of the brain and is the reason for the state of health and growing of cells throughout every section of our body. HGH levels decrease as we get older and therefore decrease the health and regeneration of our cells. This has an impact all over the body as we show the signs of age through wrinkles, loss of hair, weaker muscle tone and a decrease in our function both sexually and mentally. HGH injections have been claimed to slow down, reduce or even reverse the aging process very effectively according to studies recently.

Research on the effects of HGH injections has revealed decreases in total body fat, lean muscle mass increases, more restful slumber, energized, increased mental ability, enhanced vision, healthy looking skin and improved sexual performance.

The down side? HGH injections are very expensive, require a physician to prescribe the injection and time wasted on office visits since the injections are temporary and require periodic injections. The price tag on the HGH injections can run aproximately twenty thousand dollars a year. Who can afford that?! This is why individuals turned to the use of HGH injection alternatives like supplements. Oral pills, powders and sprays all are reported to work by increasing the natural production of HGH through the pituitary gland. While studies have looked positive when looking at the results, there has been some debate and questioning as to just how effective the supplements can be. HGH injections however, are proven to provide the right amount of hormone and correct effect that people desire.

HGH injections may prove just too expensive and supplements can run a decent total as well, but far from the cost of injections. Perhaps looking at lifestyle changes are you best bet. This would be beneficial to do for injection and supplements also. Look at what you are eating including fiber intake. Healthy eating means avoiding all the foods that are high in salt, fats and carbohydrates. Your fiber intake should be increased to at least the minimum daily requirements. A good manner in which you can do that is through green leafy vegetables and fruits eaten on a daily basis. Another lifestyle change that gives energy and healthful benefits would be to start or increase your exercise routine. Including vitamins and minerals to the diet ensure your body has the correct nutrition to function correctly and efficiently.
